Youngsville Custom Kitchens A successful branding campaign developed recently for a client by BBG&G Advertising involves a mix of print advertising produced for Youngsville Custom Kitchens. Despite having been in their current Middletown location for 10 years, Youngsville faced a lack of consumer awareness of their presence in Orange County and of the depth of their design services and skills. BBG&G developed a tiered print campaign promoting Youngsville’s key benefits. After listening carefully to the owners’ description of their business, customers, consumer needs, and competition, we outlined a branding strategy. BBG&G determined that Youngsville’s innovative design solutions, personal attention and affordability were key selling points. We positioned Youngsville Custom Kitchens as offering a level of one-on-one personal service, experience, and problem-solving kitchen design capabilities unmatched by their competition. We completely revamped their graphic look and logo to present a sophisticated, upscale image. A print campaign circulated through the Times Herald Record, the Pike County Dispatch, and the Sullivan County Democrat. Initially the ads appeared in a heavier frequency to hit the market with their message, establish Youngsville’s image, and create a strong presence. With the attainment of those goals and a strong and steady increase in sales established, we have been able to decrease their media frequency, conserve their advertising dollars, and maintain an abiding and positive presence in the market area. In addition, BBG&G has leveraged newly designed collateral material, a trade show display, and public relations to round out the program. The campaign has been extremely successful for Youngsville. In their own words: “The results we have seen since BBG&G started handling our advertising in 1999 are nothing short of phenomenal. Ad layout, content, and placement have definitely improved our visibility to consumers. The very first week the ads ran, a couple came into our showroom, advertisement in hand, and hired us to design both of their sons’ kitchens. The flow of enthusiastic customers didn’t stop there. Recently, during a bad snowstorm in February, a couple called, asking us not to close until they had a chance to get there. Our business has shown steady growth since BBG&G began to manage our marketing. They have kept a steady flow of prospects walking through our doors and are attentive to our needs. They listen to what we say about our business and our customers. We thank BBG&G Advertising for contributing enormously to our success.” Linda & Joe Babicz
